“Zenyatta” is the name of this 2014 Pioneer 197 and we heard an interesting story about how she got her name! “Zenyatta Mondata” was the first album by The Police. Their manager went to a horse sale and bought flee-bitten horse and her name was Zanyatta -- this horse went on to be the 2010 American Horse of the Year, and Champion Older Female in 2008, 2009 and 2010. She was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2016. The boat owner’sbest friend from work had twins, aged 6, who liked to come by and ride her horses now and then. The day she bought the boat, she was shopping for Christmas presents for the twins. The little girl liked horses and wanted to be a jockey one day and she looked up on the store shelf and thought, “Oh, that’s a cute horse” and what was it’s name??? Zenyatta! Notice the two horseshoes in the pic. The name also flaunts Zenyatta’s official racing colors."
